We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support Active Network Defense (AND), Computer Network Defense (CND), and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) initiatives. This role focuses on system administration, application support, and security monitoring across Linux and Windows environments. The ideal candidate is security-focused, technically skilled, and motivated to help protect enterprise systems against evolving threats.

Responsibilities
Perform system administration for Linux and Windows servers.
Configure, maintain, and automate server processes including hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot sensor and monitoring devices, including physical installation when required.
Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades in a timely manner and resolve server-related issues.
Administer user and customer accounts and support escalated technical tickets.
Deploy and maintain monitoring tools and applications.
Monitor server environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
Support enterprise security tools used for network defense and continuous monitoring.
Requirements
Qualifications
Required
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
Experience administering VMware-based architectures.
Knowledge of physical and virtual server environments.
Strong application administration and troubleshooting skills.
Security+ certification.
Education & Experience (One of the Following)
High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
Associate’s Degree with 8 years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience
Master’s Degree with 4 years of experience
Doctorate with 2 years of experience
Desired
Experience with hardware installation and cabling.
Familiarity with monitoring tools.
Network experience including architecture, switch administration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with cloud or virtualized environments such as AWS or VMs.
